When the app first opens you will see the game clock, possession/shot clock, and two penalty clocks. There is also a miscellaneous clock to be used between periods or during timeouts. The Game Clock start button will start the game clock and shot clock. If there is an active penalty, the penalty clock will also start with the game clock. The Game Clock stop button will stop the game clock, shot clock, and penalty clocks. Reset will restart the associated clock whether that is the game clock, shot clock, penalty clock, or miscellaneous clock. The set button will allow the user to input the minutes and seconds value to set the associated clock whether that is the game clock, shot clock, penalty clock, or miscellaneous clock.

The app settings can be accessed by pressing the down arrow in the upper right part of the screen and selecting Settings. In the settings screen, the game period length, possession/shot clock length, and penalty length can all be set. When the app is first installed, the default options of 15 minutes for the game clock, 60 seconds for shot clock 1, 90 seconds for shot clock 2, 30 seconds for penalty clock 1, 60 seconds for penalty clock 2, 120 seconds for penalty clock 3, and 180 seconds for penalty clock 4 will be set. There are a few other options that can be chosen. The reset shot clock to shot clock 1 value when penalty clock reset toggle switch will turn this capability on or off. This is set to on by default. The reset penalty clock when game clock reset toggle switch will turn this capability on or off. This option is set to off by default. The display miscellaneous timer toggle switch will switch the display for the miscellaneous timer on or off. There may be no need for the miscellaneous timer during the game.
