When the app first opens you will see the game clock, shot clock, and kick out clocks. There is also a miscellaneous clock to be used between periods or during timeouts. The Game Clock start button will start the game clock and shot clock. If there is an active kick out, the kick out clock will also start with the game clock. The Game Clock stop button will stop the game clock, shot clock, and kick out clocks. Reset will restart the associated clock whether that is the game clock, shot clock, kick out clock, or miscellaneous clock. The set button will allow the user to input the minutes and seconds value to set the associated clock whether that is the game clock, shot clock, kick out clock, or miscellaneous clock.

The app settings can be accessed by pressing the down arrow in the upper right part of the screen and selecting Settings. In the settings screen, the game period length, shot clock length, and kick out length can all be set. When the app is first installed, the default options of 7 minutes for the game clock, 30 seconds for the shot clock, and 20 seconds for the kick out clock will be set. There are a few other options that can be chosen. The reset shot clock when kick out clock reset toggle switch will turn this capability on or off. This is set to on by default since the game rules state that the shot clock resets when a kick out is committed. The reset kick out clock when game clock reset toggle switch will turn this capability on or off. This option is set to off by default which follows the rules of water polo. The display miscellaneous timer toggle switch will switch the display for the miscellaneous timer on or off. There may be no need for the miscellaneous timer during the game.
